Climate
Due to the vast geographical area of China, it has a great variety of climate. In the northern areas, the mountains and the plateaus areas, winters are freezing cold. In the southern areas, summers are hot except in the peaks and in the high hilly mountains. The summer season is the rainiest season.
The rainiest zones of China are the south-east and the slightest rainfall occurs in the north-west. The average temperature in the month of January is below -10 °C, and in the northern part, below -20 °C.
